Why?

I decided to write this blog because pop science reporting pisses me off, and I wanted to rant to as large of an audience as I could garner. And maybe I'll get lucky and you'll learn something.

I tend to have a slant towards ecology, evolutionary biology and genetics. I'd love to have contributors with similarly high standards for science reporting who have expertise in other fields--contact me if this is you and you'd like to write with me.
